Amy Piller
- Bio
Amy Piller teaches English and social studies at P.S. 126 (Manhattan Academy of Technology). She has taught middle school English for the past three years. After finishing her B.A. in creative writing with a focus in poetry, she became a teacher and earned her M.A. through the New York City Teaching Fellows program. She loves teaching middle school kids because they consistently surprise her in the most refreshing ways, and because teaching takes all of her energy, creativity and intellect in the moment, leaving her never bored. In her spare time, Amy likes to cook, run and write poems.
