Priscilla Fields

Priscilla Fields is a 6-year veteran who teaches 7th grade writing at the Jacob Riis School in Manhattan. She is also a doctoral student at New York University, writing her dissertation on what the writing share reveals about students’ literacy learning and understanding. Priscilla is a new mother. She is also an avid sportswoman who formerly ran an outdoor adventure club that took students whitewater rafting, biking, horseback riding, and skiing on day and weekend-long trips in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. She has a BA in English from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT (1998) and a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT (2000).
